Post Aaron McCruder's "Boondocks" and Spike Lee's "Bamboozled", "Coonskin" (1975) is film ahead of its time. Directed by Ralph Bakshi, starring cast voices:Barry White,Charles Gordone, Scatman Crothers, Philip Michael Thomas Although this film proceeded Boondocks and Bamboozled the story is ironically relevant for today. I can only suggest everyone watch with an open mind with the desire to comprehend. The introduction song playing during the opening credits may even be a challenge for some. I actually enjoyed it.
